What I do

I've lead product design, content design, brand/marketing design, and user research, as well as product management teams. I've built, scaled, and evolved teams from small to over 50 people across timezones, continents, and in-person, hybrid, and remote.

I've been unofficially mentoring designers, product people, and startups for years, but started as a design and product leadership mentor in 2019. In 2024 I also started as a startup mentor and advisor.

Senior Leadership, reporting to CEO. Led an Experience team of 30 product designers, content designers, user researchers and brand/marketing designers.

Objectives were to improve the health, consistency and quality of the design team, co-lead product strategy, lead a Quality working group, and build a business case for an in-house creative studio for brand and marketing.

Developed vision and strategy for user experience across B2C and B2B offerings, and for Product across B2C and Trust portfolios. Co-lead cross-functional business strategy for one of three company pillars, directly accountable to the C-suite for top level OKR success.

Grew Design team to 52 people across 4 timezones, 3 countries, 8 locations. Spearheaded design-led projects in new areas of product for the business.
